So if ur looking for a device which provides performance just go for it. I bought it in 2021 in fall and until the poco launcher update it was an unpleasant experience. But thanks God that the POCO did the job to update the launcher.
In our Poco X3 review, we will share our experience and give you a better view of where it stands compared to Realme 7 Pro (review) and Galaxy M31s (review). By the time we are done, you will hopefully be able to decide if this is a phone you should buy. The wide-angle camera does a fine job in proper daylight, but you need to balance your expectations. Power buttons, ports, and fingerprint readers are easily accessible. The X3 Pro further has a hybrid card slot and an IR blaster. There’s also a LED notification light, surely a rarity these days. It’s stock ROM (firmware) still thicker and heavier than competing options like the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Realme 8 Pro, but maybe not prohibitively so.
- I think its just a matter of time, MIUI might become the go to OS for phones.
- Finally, you can follow the How to install the ADB Driver page to install the drivers correctly.
- The Poco X3 Pro is also surprisingly capable in low light situations as it offers a night mode too.
- You’ll be able to play pretty much everything on offer on the Google Play Store, along with the ability to emulate a lot of past consoles and handhelds as well.
Poco X3 Pro comes with MIUI based on Android 11 which makes it future-proof. You can easily expect two more major Android updates which are great. Since it’s a Poco phone the Ads are not present here but you do get some bloatware. Unfortunately, the performance sometimes drops significantly under load. In order not to overheat, the Poco X3 Pro throttles its computing power. When the load is intense, only 71 percent of the actual computing power is available to you. In mobile games in particular, this can quickly become a disadvantage.
Xiaomi has already started preparations for POCO X3 NFC MIUI 14 UI. Xiaomi claims that MIUI 12 has improved fluency with 15% fewer missed frames in third-party apps. Xiaomi’s stock apps have been optimized for 23 percent fewer missing frames.
